Terms and Conditions EASY PALACE STATION HOTEL

Bookings
Bookings for individual guests can be made online, in written form or by fax.

A credit card number with indication of its´ validity date is required for online bookings; please note, however, that accommodation costs have to be paid upon arrival. Possible cancellation fees will be charged to your credit card. The information submitted online is legally binding. For group bookings ( from 4 persons to a max. of 12 persons), we require an issued guarantee such as a credit card or a down-payment.

Payment
All hostel services are to be paid in cash, by VISA or Mastercard upon arrival. In case of a previously effected bank transfer, the amount due must be credited on our account upon arrival. Account statements as a prove of a bank transfer made to us will not be accepted as payment mode

Down-payment and guarantee
For groups from 4 persons on or for bookings with a total exceeding € 300,- a down-payment of 50% of the total has to be transferred to our bank account . For trade fair bookings we require as a guarantee valid credit card details as well as a down-payment which has to be made two weeks after your booking has been confirmed. For short notice bookings the down-payment has to be made at least two weeks before arrival. Any further costs accrue for transfers are at the expense of the depositor.

Oktoberfest/BAUMA:

For bookings both for the Oktoberfest or the Bauma, a down-payment of 50% of the total amount becomes due with the issue of the confirmation (yet a minimum of the amount of the first night)! We allow only a minimum stay of 2 days, the down-payment is non refundable. The remaining accommodation costs are due upon arrival.

During Oktoberfest we accept group bookings up to a maximum of 6 persons In case we notice upon arrival, that this rule has been violated by various separate bookings, we reserve the right to resign from the accommodation contract. Also, Saturday night is bookable only in combination with Sunday night.

Cancellations
The conditions for cancellations for individual travellers comply with the german statutory provisions. Online bookings can be cancelled within 24 hours after the booking was made.
Groups have to confirm the total amount of guests to the EASY PALACE Station Hotel at least one week before arrival. Up to 10% of the originally reserved guests can be cancelled free of charge. For late cancellations we charge or retain the following fees:
For cancellations more than three months before arrival: € 50.00 administrative charges.
For cancellations less than three months before arrival: 25% of the total costs.
For cancellations less than one month before arrival: 50% of the total costs.
For cancellations less seven days before arrival: 90% of the total costs plus 50% of the subsistence costs.
Justified cancellations from EASY PALACE Station Hotel towards booked guests have to be made in written form at least 2 weeks before arrival date.

Cancellations of Bookings for Oktoberfest and other big events in Munich are not possible. If such booking should be cancelled, the entire value of the booking is to be paid, less the savings for cleaning, food, or the revenue for rooms that EASY PALACE STATION HOTEL could let to 3rd parties.Cancellations of reservations from EASY PALACE STATION HOTEL must be well-founded and confirmed in writing at least two weeks before arrival.

Youth groups
Groups of youngsters under 18 can be hosted only if accompanied by a responsable, full age person. The attendance must also stay in the hotel.

House Rules
The House Rules are a component of the general business conditions. By infringement of the house rules Easy Palace Station Hotel has the right to cancel the accommodation contract without prior notice. For services not taken up due to a contract cancellation the cancellations fees apply as mentioned above.

Liability / Deposits
Anyone who causes damage to the building or inventory is liable for the costs (especially the companion or organizer). Theft or intentional damage of property will be reported to the police. On departure of groups the rooms will be inspected by our staff. Damaged property or lost key cards will be charged to your account and have to be paid in cash before departure. EASY PALACE Station Hotel reserves the right to ask for a deposit from guests, especially from groups up to the amount of € 50,00 per Person. This deposit has to be paid in cash immediately. The Deposit will be refunded on check-out, eventual less costs repair, replacement, etc. EASY PALACE Station Hotel has no liability for damages if wantonly negligent behaviour can not be proven. EASY PALACE Station Hotel also has no liability for stored luggage, vehicles or bicycles on the premises.

Final provisions
The inefficacy of single parts of the above terms and conditions is independent of the remaining sections.

House Rules EASY PALACE Station Hotel

The most important is said in one sentence:
"We ask all our guests to behave in a way such that other guests or neighbours are not disturbed."

Still we would like to work out the following details:

Noise at Night
Please keep low volume and avoid noise after 10p.m.
In the dorms we would like you to be silent and switch of the light also on demand of a single guest.
Also please be silent in the stairway and corridors.

No Smoking
Please note that smoking is not allowed in any of the rooms, corridors or stairways. Rooms and the staircase are equipped with highly sensitive smoke detectors. For any kind of manipulative influence, the caused expenses - at least EUR 20,00, will be charged.

Damage, Mess, Loss of Key cards
Anyone who causes damage to the building or inventory / furniture etc. or loses a key card is liable for the resulting costs. The compensation payment of loss suffered is to be paid immediately in cash. On departure of groups the rooms will be inspected by our staff. Damaged property or lost keys will be charged to your account and have to be paid in cash before departure (the person in charge of groups or, as the case may be, a representative of the travel organizer are responsible). Theft or intentional damage of property will be reported to the police.

Visitors
Receiving visitors who are not registered at the reception is allowed only for exceptional occasions and with the permission of our reception staff. You are welcome to meet your visitors in our Lobby or at the Hostel bar.

Pets are not allowed.

In case of infringement of the house rules, EASY PALACE Station Hotel has the right to cancel the accommodation contract without prior notice. For services not taken up due to a contract cancellation, the cancellation fees apply according to the original contract.

Emergency Exits
Please do not use the lift in case of a fire. Should the stairway be inaccessible in case of a fire please use the signposted emergency stairway. If the emergency stairway is also not accessible please stay in in your room, close (but do not lock) the door and try to attract attention through the window.
